Meet Michelle
Therapeutic Counsellor
I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Before training to be a counsellor I worked as a Communications Officer for 15 years dealing with different situations which could range from people being in mental health crisis to individuals in severe distress. My love for wanting to help others and finding depth beyond my work limitations was the reason I chose to train to be a counsellor, and now I can offer full support to individuals in need.

As well as providing therapy to adults and children in my private practice, I also work in a secondary school providing counselling for students between the ages 11-18yrs who present with social, emotional and mental health needs. Before this, I worked as a Bereavement Counsellor for St Francis Hospice and I worked at a primary school counselling children through art, play and sand tray therapy. I am trained in multiple therapeutic approaches and can apply the method that suits the client best. Everyone is different and I look to provide a bespoke service tailored to the individuals needs.
